Shipping and Delivery

Mello-Hair offers free delivery throughout the UK. All items are shipped within 3-5 working days after purchase and are sent tracked and insured, a tracking number will be sent to you as soon as your item has been shipped. If you have any special requirements for our delivery, please send a message or email after purchasing.

We use Royal Mail to ship within the UK and always use tracked next-day delivery. To ship outside of the UK we use Parcelforce.

Please note if your delivery address is remote extra delivery costs may occur.

For EU shipping we charge a £22.00 postage fee, customers should expect their order to be delivered within  7-10 working days.

For worldwide shipping, we charge a £42.00 postage fee, customers can expect their order to arrive within 7-10 working days.

It is important to note that customers ordering from outside of the UK are responsible for paying any applicable customs duties, fees, and taxes. The amount will vary depending on the buyer’s location and regulations of their country.

Returns

We understand that if you are new to wearing toppers, you may feel you need to return your purchased topper. Please consider that your piece needs a little time and personalization to get used to, but if the piece isn’t for you don’t worry! Just get in touch within 7-days of receiving and we can discuss the next step together.

The piece is subject to inspection upon return, do not cut, heat style, dye, remove or move any clips or combs, or alter the piece in any way. Doing any of the above will prohibit you from receiving a refund and the piece will be shipped back at your expense. Please ensure that your hair is clean and free of products when trying on any hair toppers.

The box and all other components must be returned with the piece in its original condition.

Buyers must make the return within 7-days if they wish to return a hair topper. Return postage costs are the buyer’s responsibility and all returns must be posted back using a tracked and signed-for service, ensuring the package is covered for the full value of the item. We ask that you provide the tracking information on all returned items. Refunds can only be processed once the piece has arrived back with us at Mello-Hair.

Mello-Hair cannot be responsible for packages that are lost upon their return shipment to us. In this case, it will be up to the buyer to contact their courier service to arrange compensation.

If 7-days have passed since the delivery of the purchased hair topper, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Customers need to request a refund or exchange within the time frame to be eligible.

Sale pieces are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. This policy applies to items that are purchased at a discounted price or during a sale.

Shipping costs are not refunded in the event of a returned piece.

For all custom orders, a 40% deposit is required. If the completed piece isn’t right, 50% of the deposit paid is refunded. Customers will be made aware of the deposit requirements and the refund policy for all custom orders.

If you want to return a custom piece after purchase you will have 7-days after delivery.  Once the piece has been returned and inspected a refund will be issued.

If a hair topper is purchased during an in-person consultation, and the customer changes their mind, they will only be eligible for an exchange. Please get in touch within 7-days if you would like to request an exchange. After 7-days have passed since the purchase, an exchange will not be valid.

Regarding the colours of all our hair toppers Mell-Hair aims to represent the colours accurately in photos and videos, we cannot guarantee a 100% accurate representation due to variations in lighting and computer/phone screens. Customers need to be aware of these possible colour variations when making a purchase.
